In the first quarter of 2025, the top free-to-play games in Europe showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of these popular games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Block Blast! from Hungry Studio saw a significant fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at $105 in late January before experiencing a decline, ending at $5 by the end of March. Weekly downloads started strong at 2.4M at the beginning of the quarter, gradually decreasing to 1.1M. Meanwhile, active users remained robust, peaking at over 37M in early February, before slightly dropping to around 32M by the quarter's end.

Roblox maintained a steady revenue stream, beginning at approximately $7.2M and ending at $1.9M. Downloads were consistent, starting at over 1.1M and decreasing slightly to 632K. The game sustained a large user base, with active users fluctuating around 43M to 48M throughout the quarter.

Vita Mahjong from Vita Studio showed gradual growth in revenue, starting at $4.6K and peaking at $5.7K mid-March. Weekly downloads began at 694K, with a slight decline to 586K by the end of March. Active user numbers showed a positive trend, increasing from 2.9M to 4.3M by the quarter's close.

Subway Surfers by Sybo Games experienced a varied revenue pattern, starting at $18.9K, peaking at $24.9K in late January, and ending at $21K. Downloads slightly decreased from 782K to 588K. Active users remained stable, ranging from 13.7M to 15.3M.

Finally, PUBG MOBILE from Tencent Mobile International Limited showcased robust revenue growth, starting at $2.6M and surging to $4.5M by the end of March. Downloads, however, saw a decrease from 625K to 432K. Active users steadily increased, peaking at just over 15.9M.
